LOCATION: City block in West Tampa bounded by Armenia and Tampania avenues and Cordelia and Ivy streets.

DEVELOPER: Castillo Housing Corp., Tampa

DESCRIPTION: Four two-story buildings containing a total of 19 townhomes. All units have three bedrooms, 2½ bathrooms and 1,707 square feet.

PRICE: $289,900, preconstruction

ARCHITECT: ReyMar and Associates Inc., Miami.

AMENITIES: Optional hardwood floors; garden tubs in master bathrooms; two balconies per unit; high ceilings; wired for security system and high-speed Internet; brick paver driveways and walkways.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "This is my back yard,'' Castillo Housing president Andrew Castillo said. He moved to West Tampa as an infant after his family immigrated to the United States from Cuba in 1966. His company has built residential and commercial projects in West Tampa for seven years. "We feel really strongly that the area is going to improve.''

TIMELINE: An old textile factory on the site was demolished about two years ago, Castillo Housing sales representative Melinda Mosser said. Construction should start within a few weeks and finish in December.
