ARTS

Paul B. Bilyeu has been named director of public relations at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Tampa. Bilyeu was senior press representative for theater, modern dance and ballet at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington, D.C.

ADVERTISING

Michael Schillig has been promoted to associate creative director at Pyper Paul+Kenney, Tampa. Schillig was a senior copywriter.

CONSTRUCTION

Kevin Bowen has been promoted to senior vice president and principal-in-charge at Bovis Lend Lease, Tampa. Bowen was director of technical services.

FINANCE

Judy Kane has been named vice president/national closing manager at Market Street Mortgage, Clearwater. Kane was manager/of counsel at the law firm of Katz, Infeld and Brett PC, Westbury, N.Y.

INSURANCE

Danice K. Leal has been named a sales agent at Alco Associates (Blue Cross, Blue Shield), St. Petersburg. Leal was a health insurance agent at Wellcare Health Care Plans in Pinellas County.

NONPROFIT

Michael Anton has been named director of development at Achieve Tampa Bay, Tampa. Anton was district director at the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Norfolk, Va.

Linda Ward has been promoted to president and chief executive officer at Gulfside Regional Hospice, New Port Richey. Ward was vice president of operations.

The Pier Aquarium, St. Petersburg, announces officers on the board of directors for 2006: Lari Johnson, president; Lee L. Given, vice president; Elinor Gollay, MSW/director of development; and F. Blake Longacre, treasurer/secretary. Johnson is owner/president of Lari Johnson Public Relations, St. Petersburg; Given is a community volunteer; Gollay is retired public policy and social welfare consultant and formerly owned an arts and crafts gallery in Santa Fe, N.M.; and Longacre is a developer and owner/president of FBL Developments, Clearwater.

REAL ESTATE

Diane Bazarian has been named regional corporate accountant at GVA Advantis for the Tampa and Orlando markets. Bazarian will be based at GVA's Tampa office and was an accountant at Sullivan Advertising Group Inc., Safety Harbor.

RESTAURANTS

Annamarie Balch has been named director of marketing at Shells Seafood Restaurants Inc., Tampa. Balch was marketing director at WSTR-FM 94 in Atlanta.
