Luke Kademoff resigned as coach at Pinellas Park after four seasons, saying he needed a change.
Kademoff, a former Dixie Hollins offensive lineman who played collegiately at Samford in Birmingham, Ala., was the Patriots' offensive and defensive line coach from 1993-97 and was promoted to defensive coordinator and assistant head coach in 1998.
He took over as head coach in 2002, replacing James Adams.
"I've spent my entire coaching career at the same place," Kademoff said. "This gives the school and myself a fresh start."
Kademoff, 38, went 11-30, including 1-9 records in 2004 and '05. He is the fourth coach to step down this year, joining Boca Ciega's Jean Gordon, PHU's Dustin Bengston and St.Petersburg's Todd St.Louis.
