LOCATION: 5224 S MacDill Ave., near Paxton Avenue
DEVELOPER: Samter Homes Inc. of Tampa
DESCRIPTION: Four buildings containing a total of 16 three-story townhomes. Each unit has 1,450 square feet, two bedrooms and 2½ bathrooms. Architectural style has elements of Mediterranean Revival.

ARCHITECT: Hafner Ferlita Architects of Tampa
AMENITIES: Each unit has two balconies and a two-car garage, hardwood floors, granite countertops in the kitchen, high ceilings, wiring for surround sound, a security system and high speed Internet access.
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: La Gaspara's location is its strong point, said listing agent Candace Courter. "We're about a half mile to Bayshore Boulevard and the Ballast Point Park,'' she said. The name La Gaspara is a play on the possibly fictional pirate Jose Gaspar and the Gasparilla Pirate Invasion, which kicks off every year at the nearby Tampa Yacht and Country Club.

MOVE-IN DATE: May 2007, tentatively.
