Man stabs, kills 2 men, deputies say

TAMPA - A man fatally stabbed two people around midnight Friday in a Thonotosassa apartment complex, a sheriff's spokesman said.

Jamie Anthony Denegar, 24, got into an argument with Roelver Munoz, 29, of 9406 Grandfield Road and stabbed him in the groin, said sheriff's spokesman J.D. Calloway. Denegar then walked to another part of Munoz's apartment complex and stabbed Rafael Vega, 31,in the chest, Calloway said.

Vega died soon after the attack. Munoz died later Saturday at Tampa General Hospital, Calloway said.

Denegar was arrested at his home at 9420 Greystone Road, Apt. A, and charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of second-degree murder.
