Whether you're retired or just dreaming of those days, planning ahead is the best way to make use of your time. To help with that planning, here is a selection of events you might want to pencil on your calendar.

The season for many art forms, such as stage performances, has largely ended, but there are still plenty of musical performances and other events to consider.

Eckerd College Osher Lifelong Learning Institute biography series. The classes will focus on Clara Schumann, Charles de Gaulle, Jerry Herman, Edith Wharton, Mary Harris "Mother'' Jones and Sergei Eisenstein.
