Kmart and Sears stores are among sites hosting free Medicare information sessions conducted by specialists with the national, nonprofit My Medicare Matters program. Teams of specialists offer face-to-face meetings to help seniors understand the new Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage. Seniors and their families are given individualized guidance to the new coverage and how to choose among its options. The program is sponsored by the National Council on Aging and the Access to Benefits Coalition.
