Home Depot arson under review

BRANDON - The Hillsborough County fire marshal's office is investigating an arson Monday night inside a Home Depot, where someone apparently doused a cardboard box on the retail floor with lighter fluid and set it on fire.
A Home Depot employee used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames before firefighters arrived at the store at 9941 E Adamo Drive, Hillsborough Fire Rescue spokesman Ray Yeakley said.
No one was injured in the 8 p.m. fire, and the only damage was to the box, Yeakley said.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance video of the store area to try to determine who was responsible. The fire had the potential to cause serious harm, Yeakley said, so the agency is treating it seriously, despite the fact that it is considered a no-dollar loss.
