It's all about the ring
He loves wrestling. So does she. (Not with each other. Well, who knows?) They agree that ...

Theirs is a merger of wrestling passions and paraphernalia. Angela Moslek and Matt Laurain were married Saturday, a little over a year since their public engagement in a wrestling ring. Laurain, 23, wrestles under the name of Mark Zout. Last year, he stunned Moslek when he called her into the ring a few days before Valentine's Day and, in front of dozens of cheering wrestling fans, family and friends, asked her to marry him. For their early afternoon wedding at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, she wore a satin-trimmed Cinderella-style ball gown from David's Bridal. He donned a tailcoat. Her maid of honor, five bridesmaids and junior bridesmaid wore pastel pink. One of three flower girls was dressed like a miniature bride. The little girl was escorted by a miniature groom. The ring bearer's pillow, white satin trimmed with pink ribbon, looked like a wrestling ring. Perched on it was an action figure of one of the bride's favorite wrestlers, Shawn Michaels. "Wrestling is our life, so we try to incorporate it into everything we do,'' Moslek said a few days earlier. The pillow, she said, was a "classy way'' of including the sport in the wedding. Three of Laurain's wrestling buddies were groomsmen. Others were among the 200 or so guests who witnessed the ceremony. One sported a red mohawk. Another wore a suit but donned a black collarless T-shirt underneath, with a black tie. He wore sneakers. Laurain, who works at Sports Authority full time and wrestles on weekends, was nervous before his surprise proposal a year ago, but as his wedding day approached, he was at ease. "I'm actually feeling pretty good about it. It is something I knew was going to happen,'' he said. "On my wedding day, we will (have been) together five years.'' The couple met at a wrestling show. "She is a mirror image of me. She loves everything that I love,'' Laurain said during an interview before he proposed last year. "It's awesome to have someone like that who you could love and also be your best friend,'' said the St. Petersburg High School graduate who began wrestling as a junior. Late last week, Moslek, 22, spoke of the man who would soon become her husband. "He's the love of my life. He's awesome. He makes me smile,'' she said. "He's the most wonderful man I've ever met and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.'' This is a big year for Moslek, who attends St. Petersburg College and works for the R Club afterschool program. This summer, she expects to graduate with an associate's degree and hopes to teach special-needs children. Before then, though, the couple have some redecorating to do. They must merge the wrestling collection from her room at her parents' Pinellas Park home with his extensive one, which dominates almost every square inch of the St. Petersburg home he has owned since he was 18. "We're trying to figure out where we're going to put it,'' Moslek said of the massive assemblage of action figures, posters, Lilliputian wrestling rings, magazines and DVDs. That decision will have to wait a week or two. Now that they are married, the couple have gone to Disney World.
