Two injured when car rolls over on I-275

TAMPA - A vehicle overturned on Interstate 275 north Friday evening.

One person was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital and another transported to St. Joseph's Hospital, a Hillsborough Fire Rescue dispatcher said. The 6:50 p.m. crash near the Bearss Avenue exit caused significant delays, prompting some drivers to get out of their vehicles and walk around.

The Florida Highway Patrol did not release details Friday evening about the crash or the persons involved.
