Air Force Airman Chadwyck S. McDaniel has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

During the six weeks of training, McDaniel studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. He has also earned credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

McDaniel is the son of Theresa Lane of Oldsmar and is a 2005 graduate of East Lake High School.

Coast Guard Seaman Daniel S. Mosquera, 22, a native of Dunedin, deployed April 19 to the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While there, he will be assigned to the Coast Guard Cutter Monomoy, a 110-foot patrol boat.

Mosquera will participate in maritime interception operations and coastal security patrols in the Persian Gulf along with the Navy and coalition naval forces, enforcing U.N. sanctions preventing the movement of insurgent military forces or equipment at sea.

Mosquera is serving as a member of an elite Coast Guard expeditionary force capable of worldwide deployment and has been trained in procedures suitable to the prevailing security environment.

Mosquera is the son of William Buzzell and Nikola Marcks-Buzzell of Dunedin and George Mosquera of Brandon.

Army Private David Ten Eyck Jr. has graduated from basic combat military training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

During the eight weeks of training, he received instruction in weapons and rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map-reading, military justice, first aid and special training in human relations.

Ten Eyck is the son of David Ten Eyck of St. Petersburg and Rosemarie Batcheler of Largo.

Army Private Kaleb Ryan has graduated from basic combat military training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

During the eight weeks of training, he received instruction in drill and ceremonies, studied the Army mission and history, physical fitness, core values and traditions, and human relations.

Ryan is the son of Jerri Cook of Tarpon Springs.

Army Private Scott Stinson graduated from basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., on April 20.

Stinson will continue with Advanced Individual Training for Military Police. After training, he will be stationed in Germany. Scott is a 2003 graduate of Countryside High School. He is the son of Jim and Lori Hensel of Clearwater and Mark and Michelle Stinson of Dunnellon.
