Being born into wealth is one way

Here's an opportunity you won't want to miss: Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka and the winner from the first season of The Apprentice are coming to Tampa this week to reveal the secrets to becoming super-rich. (Rich daddy, anyone?)

The Donald's spawn and Bill Rancic, top apprentice in spring 2004, are featured speakers at a daylong meeting at Tampa's Marriott Waterside on Thursday. For price of entry ($149 or free for those who register in advance), you get a copy of Rancic's book, You're Hired - How to Succeed in Business and Life.

Among the tips to be shared at this "once-in-a-lifetime'' financial conference: how to buy real estate "for 31 percent to 57 percent below value"; how to retire in two to five years with an additional "$9,100 per month''; and the "21 moneymaking secrets millionaires are using.''

Though the event is billed as a "Celebrity Conference,'' Trump's daughter and Rancic are the only names that might be recognized by the general public. The invitation gives little information about the other "multimillionaire" speakers, who are identified only by last name and fingernail-sized photos on the VIP ticket.

If the names James Smith, Wayne Gray and Robert Bluhm mean anything to you, be prepared to be wowed. The ticket promises they will appear "live and in person."
