Lightning signs junior league's No. 2 scorer

TAMPA - The Lightning signed right wing Stanislav Lascek, its fifth-round pick in the 2005 draft, to a three-year entry-level contract Friday.
Lascek, 20, played last season for Chicoutimi of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. In 64 games, he scored 47 goals and 135 points to finish second in the league in scoring.
Lascek (6-0, 191 pounds) led his native Slovakia in the 2006 World Junior Championships with six goals and nine points in six games.
ANTHEM AUDITIONS: The Lightning is accepting audition tapes until July 7 for anthem singers for the 2006-07 season. Hopefuls should submit an audiocassette or CD of their a cappella renditions of the U.S. and Canadian national anthems.
Submissions must be mailed to 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL., 33602, attn: Hope Reep.
Performers during the 2005-06 season do not need to resubmit their tapes.
Items submitted will not be returned. Only those who are called back will be notified.
