WESTCHASE - Westchase Elementary School has once again dominated the Battle of the Books.

The Battle of the Books is a countywide competition for fourth-graders who have read 20 preselected books since the beginning of the school year.

All participants are given questions about a book's contents, and the team that responds fastest gets to answer the question. The school with the most correct answers wins.

The winners of Wednesday's competition were: first place, Westchase Elementary School; second place, Carrollwood Elementary School; third place, Yates Elementary School

This is Westchase Elementary's second consecutive win and third win since 2002.
