Gulfport

A special Art Walk to Salute St. Pete Pride, sponsored by the Gulfport Merchants Association, will be held from noon to 10 p.m. May 26. Artists and crafters are needed to set up along Beach Boulevard. Setup space is $10. For more information, call Mike at 302-9299.

Indian Rocks Beach

The North Beaches Branch YMCA will offer swimming classes at the Holiday Inn Harbourside pool, 401 Second St., on Wednesdays and Saturdays, in six-week sessions, through October. Group classes are held according to age. YMCA membership is not required to participate. The cost is $8 a class for residents of Belleair Shore, Indian Shores and Indian Rocks Beach; and $10 a class for residents of all other communities. For more information, call 595-5610.

A one-day babysitting course offered by the American Red Cross will be offered Saturday at the St. Pete Beach Library, 365 73rd Ave. Participants must be over 11. The fee is $40. Register at 898-3111.

The Recreation Department is holding its first-ever summer teen program Tuesdays, Thursdays and some Fridays beginning May 23. It's $300 for nine weeks or $15 a day and is open to ages 12-15. Call 363-2146.

Treasure Island

The Sun, Sand & Symphony concert performed by the Tampa Bay Symphony will be held at 7:30 p.m. May 27 on the beach at Gulf Boulevard at 104th Avenue.
