ADVERTISING

DANA HIRSCH Cohen has been named group creative director at FKQ Advertising and Marketing, Clearwater. Cohen was associate creative director.

CONSTRUCTION

Parsons Brinckerhoff Construction Services Inc., Tampa, announces these appointments: JEFF COLE, quality assurance/quality control manager; and SCOTT CASE, senior construction engineer. Cole was a project administrator at DRMP, Lakeland; and Case was an area manager at Jacobs Civil, Tampa.

TIM KNIGHT has been promoted to project manager at Indigo Beach Residences at Clearwater Beach for Taylor Woodrow's Tower Division, St. Petersburg. Knight was construction manager at the Oaks Preserve at Osprey in Hillsborough County.

JOVAN SIMIC has been promoted to area manager at Beazer Homes, Tampa. Simic was a senior home builder.

HEALTH CARE

DR. LOUIS I. ASTRA has joined Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, New Port Richey, as a vascular and thoracic surgeon. Astra was a cardiothoracic surgeon at Kettering Cardiothoraic and Vascular Surgeons Inc., Kettering, Ohio.

JEFF OSKIN has been named vice president of ancillary and support services, responsible for the laboratory, pharmacy, neurodiagnostics, plant operations, safety/security, dietary, environ-mental services and construction at University Community Hospital, Tampa. Oskin was corporate director of hospital operations at Kaleida Health, Buffalo, N.Y.

LEGAL

RICHARD C. LINQUANTI has been elected to the Tampa YMCA board of governance committee. Linquanti is a shareholder and a member of the real estate and mortgage financing practice group at the Tampa law firm of Carlton Fields.

JENNIFER R. MALIN has been named director of marketing at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick LLP, Tampa. Malin was senior client services manager at Carlton Fields, Tampa.

NONPROFIT

The Ophelia Project - Tampa Bay announces these appointments: LISA COLEN, director of training; and MIKE TREPPER, director of the boys project. Colen was the community outreach manager and Zero Exposure project director at the Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County; and Trepper was director of programs at the National Conference for Community and Justice, Tampa Bay Region.

ROGER B. BRODERICK has been elected to the board of directors of the Certified Commercial Investment Members Institute. Broderick is president of Broderick & Associates Inc., Pinellas Park.

JOHN WEBER has been named vice president of sales at the Bentley Sales Group, Tampa. Weber was sales director at Tiburon, Naples.

LYNNE CONLAN has been elected to the 2006 American Women in Radio and Television national board. Conlan is director of programming and promotion at WMOR-TV 32, Tampa.

TOURISM

MARY HABAN has been named public relations manager at the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Clearwater. Haban was community liaison for the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority, Tampa.

UNIVERSITIES

DR. GEORGE KEITH has been named campus president at Hillsborough Community College's SouthShore Campus, Ruskin. The campus is expected to be open in summer 2007. Keith was vice chancellor for academic and student affairs at Oakland Community College, Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
