Former gubernatorial candidate Bill McBride has a custom Saks Fifth Avenue tux. He also has a teenage son who rents a tux for prom. It doesn't fit, so he borrows Dad's. Uses it, returns it to Dad's closet. Or so he thinks. Oops, he mixed them up. Dad discovers the goof when dressing for a United Way dinner in Tampa on Saturday. So McBride is the only male wearing a suit, not a tux, to the event. Rental place says the Saks tux is untraceable. Which means someone, somewhere, not named McBride has a fine, custom-tailored tux. Prediction update: up to 16 named storms Four to six major hurricanes will slash through the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico this season, the National Hurricane Center predicted Monday, and the season will see up to 16 named storms. An unconventional use of a teddy bear Under the teddy bear in the crib of a 2-week-old infant Monday, Tampa police say they found something shocking: 20 ecstasy pills in a bag. Javon Dante Green, 26, and his girlfriend, Ariane Janelle Johnson, 24, both of 2003 Giddens Ave., are accused having 900 ecstasy pills, 20 grams of cocaine, an assault rifle and a semiautomatic handgun in the home.
