Woman arrested, accused of robbing banks

TAMPA - Police arrested a 22-year-old woman accused of robbing banks in Rhode Island and Connecticut, according to a police report.

Evonne D. Maurice of Westbrook Conn., was arrested just before 3 a.m. Saturday on warrants for bank robbery and threatening to use a bomb in a bank, police say.

Police learned of Maurice's whereabouts during an investigation at a motel. After 10 hours of searching, police found Maurice at a home at 7807 Mulberry St.
