Reward posted in playground arson case

BRANDON - The Rotary Club of Brandon is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for setting a fire May 16 at a park for disabled children. The fire at All Persons Rotary Park, 800 Parsons Ave., melted slides and collapsed part of the playground. Fire investigators estimated damage at $80,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call Hillsborough sheriff's Detective Robert LaBarge at (813) 247-8586.
