BUDDHIST MEDITATION: American Buddhist meditation teacher France Roy will teach Dharma 101 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at TreeHouse Yoga Center, 8509 N 29th St. Weekly classes include an introduction to meditation from the Kadampa Buddhist tradition and two guided meditations. KIRTAN SESSION: A free session of devotional chanting and meditation will be offered from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The Kirtan will be at Treehouse Yoga Center, 8509 N 29th St., featuring chants sung in simple Sanskrit or English. There will also be some American Indian chants included. UU YOUTH PROGRAM: The program will be prepared and presented by the youth at the 10:45 a.m. service Sunday at Spirit of Life Unitarian Universalists Church. There will be instrumental music, singing, presentation of the multicultural quilt and a dialogue about church involvement. Terri Willingham will lead the adult discussion on "The Science of Belief" at 9:30 a.m. Child care for all ages is available. Social hour immediately follows the service. CELTIC SPIRITUAL WORKSHOP: Fionn Tulach (formerly known as Fiona Davidson) of Scotland will conduct a workshop titled Introduction to the Celtic Spiritual Tradition. The event will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tampa (UU Dome), 11400 Morris Bridge Road. The tradition, ancient myths and philosophy of the Ceile De will be explored including mantralike Gaelic chants. The aim of the Ceile De Spiritual Tradition is inner transformation. BAHA'I FAITH DISCUSSION: The Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Tampa offers a spiritual discussion at the Baha'i Faith Worship and Community Center of Greater Tampa, 3112 Nundy Road. Weekly discussions on spiritual topics start at 7:30 p.m. Saturdays. Spiritual gatherings of interreligious prayers and music are at 10 a.m. Sundays. '404' YOUTH GROUP: The youth at eight Lutheran churches in the Tampa Bay area have formed a "404" youth group. The name of the group comes from Luke 4:4: "One does not live by bread alone." Meetings begin at 4:04 p.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of each month and rotate among participating churches. Activities include devotions, games, Bible study and team-building exercises. Each congregation's youth group maintains its own identity and conducts its own activities during the weeks that the combined group does not meet. Call (813) 961-8747.
