FRIDAY

NEW TAMPA ROTARY CLUB: Charmant Theodore, executive director of Hospital Bienfaisance in Pignon, Haiti, will speak at the 7 a.m. weekly breakfast meeting. The topic will be "Hospital Bienfaisance and the Christian Mission of Pignon.'' He has served on the faculty at Berkeley Prep, the University of Florida, the University of Tampa and the University of South Florida. He will describe Dr. Guy Deve Theodore's vision to bring modern health care, education and social rehabilitation to Pignon and its outlying villages to serve more than 120,000 individuals. TUESDAY

WEDNESDAY

MOTHERS & MORE: The group will meet for a 90-minute class at 7:30 p.m. at Palm Yoga, 13911 N Dale Mabry Highway. Moms - beginners or yoga enthusiasts - are invited to experience strength in flexibility to release stress and share time with other moms. THURSDAY

TAMPA PALMS WOMEN'S CLUB: The last meeting before the summer break will be at 11 a.m. at Compton Park Community Center, 16101 Compton Drive. The semiannual charity award presentation will include philanthropic awards to OASIS (Outreach Assisting Students in Schools), Pace Center for Girls, Kids and Canines, and YEA! (Youth Empowered to Achieve). Also, $1,000 scholarships will be given to three female students at the University of South Florida. A total of $8,000 will be awarded. RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS SUPPORT GROUP: The monthly meeting will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Christian Counseling Center, 1060 W Busch Blvd. A speaker from the West Central Florida Area Agency on Aging will talk about the Elder Helpline and how it can be of assistance. The group, facilitated by Barbara Kolar, Ph.D., meets on the first Thursday each month to provide free information and support to those with rheumatoid arthritis and their families.
