HJALMA E. JOHNSON has been appointed director to the advisory board at Hyde Park Capital Partners LLC, Tampa. Johnson is president of Investment Advisors Inc., and Triple J. Ranch Inc., both in Dade City.

MIKE DALEY has been recognized by the Ferris State University board of trustee with an honorary degree of Doctor of Business and Industry. Daley is president of Essilor Lenses of Dallas. Daley is based in Tarpon Springs.

ADAM P. SCHWARTZ has been appointed chairman of the Florida Bar's unauthorized practice law committee. Schwartz is a shareholder and a member of the white collar crime and governmental investigations practice group at the law firm of Carlton Fields, Tampa.

JOEL D. BRONSTEIN is the recipient of the 2005-2006 Gerald T. Hart Award for Outstanding Tax Attorney of the Year. The award is given by the Tax Section of the Florida Bar. Bronstein is president at Bronstein, Carlson, Gleim, Shasteen & Smith, PA., St. Petersburg.

TECHNOLOGY

LINDA WANG has been named a programmer at Bayshore Solutions, Tampa. Wang was an ASP/.NET developer at RCG Information Technology Inc., Orlando.

NON PROFIT

BETH COLEMAN has been appointed to the Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100, which is compromised of the country's leading chamber chief staff executives. Coleman is president and chief executive officer of the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce.

RUTH ZATIK is the recipient of the Dororthy M. Hanson Award. Given by the Florida Association of Blood Banks, the award recognizes the executive of year. Zatik is vice president of technical systems at Florida Blood Services, St. Petersburg.
