Holland & Knight has raised more than a half-million dollars for a sculpture honoring the 343 New York City firefighters - and one H&K lawyer - who died trying to rescue victims of the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center.
On Saturday, the Tampa Bay area law firm and the New York City Fire Department will dedicate the 56-foot-long, 6-foot-high bronze sculpture at 10 House, a fire station across the street from Ground Zero and two blocks from the office of former partner Glenn Winuk.
Winuk, an EMT and volunteer firefighter, died during a rescue mission inside one of the towers.
