TAMPA - An unknown liquid spill briefly closed 50th Street from 7th Avenue to Interstate 4 in both directions, police say. The spill happened at 11:35 a.m. near Columbus Drive, according to dispatchers. Initially, officials were concerned the substance might be flammable.
