Food

I've had enough . . .

By CHRIS SHERMAN
Published June 8, 2006

Mandarin oranges. Canned oranges, blue cheese and walnuts do not an imaginative salad make. Fresh summer fruits are coming in: affordable berries, watermelon, pineapple, peaches. Cut fresh and toss with mint, lime juice or rice vinegar and serve on greens with feta, a slice of brie or salty shavings of Parmesan. Add almonds, pistachios, pine nuts or sunflower seeds if you wish.
