ART WORKSHOP: 9 a.m. to noon, Weeki Wachee Senior Citizens Club, 3357 Susan Drive, Spring Hill. All mediums are invited. There is no teacher, but members share their expertise. BROOKSVILLE CITY HALL ART GALLERY: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 201 Howell Ave., Brooksville. The summer exhibit runs through Sept. 5. Displays include a patriotic theme. Cascading down from the second floor balcony are stars and stripes, hearts and flowers and geometric shapes, courtesy of quilters Sherri Bell, Gene Chambers, Louise Robinson, Noreen Sullivan and Judy Vohs. The coordinators of this exhibit are Bonnie Staveski and Ruth Redeker. Other artists displaying their works include Mary Jane Groton, Janet Huddelson, Shirley M. Jacobson, Betty Barcinski, Ellen Snyder, Garry Hart, Carolyn McCatty and photos by the Spring Hill Camera Club. 544-5407.

MARINE CORPS LEAGUE, SPRING HILL DETACHMENT 708: Lunch, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Variety of food available. Pasta dinner, 5 p.m., includes salad, dessert and coffee or tea for $5. Proceeds benefit scholarships and tricycles for disabled children.
