Saunders to drop out of attorney general race

State Sen. Bert Saunders of Naples has concluded he can't win, a spokesman says.

Burt Saunders is getting ready to announce that he's dropping out of the attorney general's race.

Campaign spokesman Mike Caputo said the state senator from Naples has concluded that he can't win.

 "No matter how you slice it, he comes in second, and he's not in it for that," Caputo said.
