Savor regional artists in Hot Summer Show

By LENNIE BENNETT, Times art critic
Published June 15, 2006

Clayton Galleries, 4105 S MacDill Ave., Tampa, has one of the strongest inventories of contemporary regional artists in the area. Every summer, it empties its storage areas to showcase these artists in a series called Hot Summer Shows.

This year it is also introducing several new artists who will add variety to the mix, but favorites such as Craig Rubadoux, whose work is shown here, will be on view, too. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. (813) 831-3753.
