These events at the county's community centers are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted. Free lunch for those 60 and older is served at 11:30 a.m. at all sites; donations welcome. COMPUTER CLASSES: Introduction to the computer, the class uses Microsoft operating systems. Register by calling the number listed above. Fee: six weeks for $25.

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED COMPUTER CLASSES: A class for those who know the basics. Register by calling the number listed above. Fee: five weeks for $20.

n The Senior Happy Timers Club meets from noon to 4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays in the Hickory Hills Association clubhouse, located three miles east of the Highlands Shopping Center on State Road 44. The club welcomes new members 50 and older that would like to meet caring people, play cards and games including bingo, go on trips and have parties. Call Nancy 726-3147.
