Community centers

These events at the county's community centers are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted. Free lunch for those 60 and older is served at 11:30 a.m. at all sites; donations welcome. COMPUTER CLASSES: Introduction to the computer, the class uses Microsoft operating systems. Register by calling the number listed above. Fee: six weeks for $25.

n The Senior Happy Timers Club meets from noon to 4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays in the Hickory Hills Association clubhouse, located three miles east of the Highlands Shopping Center on State Road 44.
