ART FROM THE INSIDE: An exhibit at the Clearwater Main Library by youths in Pinellas County's Juvenile Detention Center features poetry about their incarceration, hopes for the future and photographs from the detention center. The work is based on the young people's participation in the Youth Arts Corps, a program that uses the fine arts to help youths realize their potential. The exhibit continues through Aug. 25 in the Osceola and Carnegie galleries at the library, 100 N Osceola Ave. Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. TOY SOLDIERS AS HISTORY: An exhibit of ""Toy Soldiers from Stonehenge to Queen Victoria'' is at the Clearwater Main Library, 100 N Osceola Ave. The display features more than 2,000 miniatures hand-painted by artist Bill Renc. The soldiers represent historical periods, including the Dark and Middle Ages, Renaissance and 19th century India. The exhibit continues through Aug. 25 in the first floor lobby.
