Citrus picks new administrator

The Citrus County Commission this afternoon chose Charles C. Saddler III, 49, to be the next county administrator. Saddler, who lives in Lakeland, now serves as interim town manager in Dundee, population 3,008. He has a B.S. in social science from Union College and a master's in public administration from Western Kentucky University. Four of the five commissioners made him their first choice. Jim Fowler had Saddler ranked second.
