BROOKSVILLE CITY HALL ART GALLERY: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 201 Howell Ave., Brooksville. The summer exhibit runs through Sept. 5. Displays include a patriotic theme. Cascading down from the second-floor balcony are stars and stripes, hearts and flowers and geometric shapes, courtesy of quilters Sherri Bell, Gene Chambers, Louise Robinson, Noreen Sullivan and Judy Vohs. The coordinators of this exhibit are Bonnie Staveski and Ruth Redeker. Other artists displaying their works include Mary Jane Groton, Janet Huddelson, Shirley M. BOOT SCOOTIN' SUNDAY FAMILY FUN FEST: 1 to 5 p.m., St. Anthony Catholic Church, Heffernan Hall, 20428 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville. The event will feature the band Daydreams. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $5 for children younger than 10. The cost includes a barbecue lunch and beverages. There will be children's games and activities, prizes and take-home crafts. FAMILY FUN FEST BENEFIT FOR BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION: 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mudworks Ceramic Factory, 13802 Linden Drive, Spring Hill. Visitors can participate in craft projects, such as making a handprint tile, a bracelet, family scrapbook page and other projects. There will be face painting for children and free hot dogs and sodas will be provided. The show features Thompkins, who performs pop and country tunes with two backup singers, Bonnie Quintana and LeeAnn Siegrist, and a seven-piece orchestra.
