THE SKINNY:

Born near Buffalo, N.Y., but played high school hockey in Connecticut. He had three goals and 20 assists in 28 games. Talented offensively. Well-suited for the new NHL. Has one more year of prep school then likely headed to college before starting professional career.

Sixth round, 168th overall.

Swift Current (WHL).

6-2; 210.

THE SKINNY:

Physical defenseman with decent offensive skills. In 71 games, had only one goal, but 20 assists. He also had 149 penalty minutes.
