WATCH FOR ROAD WARRIOR:Rays starter Mark Hendrickson has a much tougher time pitching at the Trop than on the road. The left-hander is 2-3 with a 6.06 ERA and seven home runs at home and 2-4 with a 2.20 ERA and two home runs on the road.
RUBBER ARM:Hendrickson has thrown more than 100 pitches in 10 of 12 starts.
NEWBIE:Braves starter Chuck James, called up from Triple-A Richmond for today's game to replace Jorge Sosa, who moved to the bullpen, makes his first career start in his 10th major-league game. The left-hander made seven starts for Richmond since coming off the DL on May 27, going 1-0 with a 2.67 ERA.
