OSI site has 'thousand details'

By SCOTT BARANCIK
Published July 17, 2006

Reminding investors it's not a one-trick pony, The Company Formerly Known As Outback Steakhouse Inc. unveiled a sleek new corporate Web site last week.

The site, www.osirestaurant partners.com, gives all seven of its chains - and the forthcoming Blue Coral Seafood & Spirits - equal billing. It features a phrase the Tampa company lifted from the cover of its 2005 annual report: "A thousand details, a single goal."

Though the saying may not be as catchy as Outback's well-known battle cry, "No Rules, Just Right," its intended audience is Wall Street, not Main Street.

OSI's stock closed Friday at $32.54 per share, its lowest price in more than three years.
