Deputies release ID of woman hit by SUV

TAMPA - Deputies have released the name of a pedestrian who was fatally struck by an SUV Saturday as she tried to cross 78th Street near Larson Lane.

Julia MacWilliams, 60, died in the 10:13 p.m. accident, deputies say. The driver of the 2003 Chevrolet Suburban that struck her, Alvin Brown, 30, of 1838 Cadillac Circle, was not injured.
