Top candidate withdraws

By Times Staff
Published July 25, 2006

Charles Saddler won’t be Citrus County’s new county administrator, after all. Saddler withdrew from consideration this afternoon during the County Commission meeting.

Not long ago, four of five commissioners said they wanted Sadler to be the man to replace Richard Wesch. But, almost from the beginning, problems arose.

There is no word yet on how the search will continue from here.
