Homers lift Twins over White Sox

TWINS 4, WHITE SOX 3 CHICAGO - Jason Bartlett hit a tiebreaking three-run homer for Minnesota, which has won 33 of 41. Chicago has lost 11 of 14. Chicago's Jim Thome took sole possession of 27th all-time with his 463rd homer, a solo shot in the first that made it 1-0. The Twins' Jason Kubel led off the second with his eighth home run to tie it. The winning rally in the seventh started when Rondell White singled up the middle and Jason Tyner reached on a bunt single in front of the mound, barely beating the throw. Bartlett then homered to left. Joe Crede made it 4-3 in the bottom half by following Jermaine Dye's leadoff single with a home run.
