TAMPA - Three people were injured in a head-on collision Wednesday morning at 22nd Street and 131st Avenue, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say a Nissan driven by Shontelle Mouling, 36, of 1260 E 113th Ave., Apt. 206, was headed south on 22nd Street and turned left at Arlington Chase apartments into the path of a sport utility vehicle driven by Julie Goddard, 33, of 3408 Valencia Road.

Goddard's vehicle was headed north on 22nd Street, and the two cars hit head-on at 10:16 a.m., deputies say.

Mouling was flown to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition, deputies said. Mouling's passenger, Leonard Cobb, 50, who shares Mouling's address, was flown to St. Joseph's Hospital in critical condition, deputies said.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the crash.
