Aug. 8: Classes begin.

Aug. 30: School improvement planning day, dismissal two hours early for students.

Sept. 4: Labor Day, schools closed.

Oct. 12: School improvement planning day, dismissal two hours early for students.

Oct. 13: Professional development day, schools closed for students.

Nov. 8: School improvement planning day, dismissal two hours early for students.

Nov. 20-21: District training days, schools closed for students.

Nov. 22-24: Thanksgiving holidays, schools closed.

Dec. 22: Professional development day, schools closed for students; first semester ends.

Dec. 25- Jan. 5: Winter holidays, schools closed.

Jan. 8: Schools reopen, second semester begins.

Jan. 15: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, schools closed.

Jan. 31: School improvement day, dismissal two hours early for students.

Feb. 19: School improvement planning day, dismissal two hours early for students.

March 26-30: Spring holidays, schools closed.

April 25: School improvement planning day, dismissal two hours early for students.

May 18: Last full day of school for students, second semester ends.

May 18-22: Graduations.
