President not enough to make Saban miss camp
When the White House extended an invitation to dine with President Bush, former Miami Dolphins quarterback and NFL Hall of Famer Dan Marino accepted, but Dolphins coach Nick Saban said no. Saban said his obligations at training camp took priority. "It was really a tough decision," Saban said. "I feel like my first responsibility is our team. That in no way disrespects the importance of the opportunity ... to spend dinner with the president." The dinner took place Sunday night at Joe's Stone Crab in Miami.

YOU can smell like him, too: Avon Products Inc. has signed Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter to a deal to create a men's fragrance called Driven, which goes on sale in November, according to a news release. "I have been very involved with creating this fragrance - everything from the blend of scents to the design of the bottle," Jeter said in the release. "I did have some help ... I asked my mother and sister to be part of the project." The fragrance is a blend of chilled grapefruit, clean oak moss and spice.
