Storms afraid of a real debate

Letters to the Editor
Published August 4, 2006

Re: Storms says her schedule rules out debate, July 14

Thanks for the article on Ronda Storms. As usual, Ronda put up a front that she can't make the debate because of prior commitments. Truth is, she is afraid of a true debate because she has never been in one.

I attended the so-called debate in Sun City Center. This was not a debate in any sense of the word but a time and forum for the candidates to express their stances on what they considered important.

At the above-mentioned forum, Storms did not answer any questions but took up an overage of her time to deride Sandy Murman, extol her own virtues as a schoolteacher and have her minions circulate petitions for qualifying for the Florida Senate seat while the other candidates were talking.
