LOCATION: At S Moody Avenue and W De Leon Street in SoHo.
DEVELOPER: Zons Development of Tampa.
DESCRIPTION: 15 townhomes in three buildings on a gated site; the two- and three-story homes range from 1,738 to 2,352 square feet and have two or three bedrooms, two full baths with one or two half baths, and a two-car garage. Victorian architectural style.
PRICE: From $619,000 to $799,000.
ARCHITECTS: Pete Alfonso and Dillon Alderman.
AMENITIES: Each home has a rooftop terrace and a ground-floor courtyard that add more than 1,000 square feet of outdoor living space, said Aaron Berger of Davis Berger & Associates of Keller Williams Realty. A Jacuzzi comes installed on each rooftop, with an outdoor kitchen available as an optional upgrade. Three-story homes have a wet bar on the top floor and a clear cylindrical elevator. All homes have hardwood floors on the first floor, high ceilings, crown molding, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, gas ranges, solid wood cabinets, a gas or electric fireplace with remote, and Listello tile borders in halls and master baths.
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: Zons co-owner Paul Paluzzi, who moved to Tampa from Chicago, plans to live across the street in the adjacent development, Victoria Park. Both projects were inspired by Paluzzi's desire to bring an urban living experience to Tampa. At its best, that experience combines proximity to services and entertainment with an oasis of private space, he said.
TIMELINE: Construction began this spring and is scheduled to be complete by the end of this year or early 2007.
MOVE-IN DATE: Upon completion.
