BIBLE STUDY: Nature Coast Community Bible Study, an international organization that provides interdenominational, in-depth Bible study for all ages, will begin its fall term Sept. 7. The study, on the books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and the Song of Solomon, is from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. Thursdays at First Baptist Church of Beverly Hills, 4950 N Lecanto Highway. The study has no particular church affiliation. Preregistration is necessary.

An informational coffee will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist. Call Sheila and LeRoy at 527-4230 or Jan at 527-0544.

MUSIC PROGRAM: Light House Ministries will present a musical program at 6 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church of Chassahowitzka, 10002 Riviera Point, Homosassa. The ministry is composed of people who have a testimony of how God helped them overcome substance abuse. Light refreshments will be served. Call 382-3585.

MOVIE SHOWING: End of the Spear, a film released in theaters last year that tells the true story of a man who returned to minister to the people who had killed his father, will be shown at 6 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Baptist Church, 2 Civic Circle, Beverly Hills. Call 746-6171.

The church also seeks choir members for the Community 9/11 service. Call if you are interested.

RECORDING ARTISTS: First Assembly of God, 4201 S Pleasant Grove Road, Inverness, will host recording artists Kevin and Cherie Daniels at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday. The two are singers, songwriters, musicians and ministers of the Gospel. Call 726-1107.

BACK TO SCHOOL BASH: Church Without Walls is seeking cash donations or school supplies for a "Back to School Bash" for needy children in Citrus County. If you can help, call 344-2425.

YARD SALE: There will be a Giant Yard Sale and Bake Sale fundraiser from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Parsons Memorial Presbyterian Church, 5850 Riverside Drive, Yankeetown. Proceeds will benefit the Pennies for Buddy Fund. Buddy is a little boy who is allergic to all food and must be fed through a feeding tube with a special formula that costs more than $1,000 a month. LUNCH MEETING: The Interfaith Council will host a lunch for paid members to discuss event plans for 2006-2007 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 22 at Unity Church, 2628 W Woodview Lane, Lecanto.

DONATION COLLECTION: Our Lady of Grace will be filling a 20-foot container with supplies for the people of Cameroon, such as school books, medical supplies, clothes and other helpful items on Aug. 26 and 27. BIBLE CONFERENCE: Five area churches will sponsor a Bible conference with pastor and author James Knox of DeLand Aug. 28 through Sept. 1. The conference will be at 7 p.m. each night at each of the churches: Monday at Freedom Baptist in Lecanto, Tuesday at Ozello Community Baptist, Wednesday at Trinity Baptist in Inverness, Thursday at Crossroad Baptist in Lecanto and Friday at Bethel Baptist in Hernando. BIBLE STUDY SERIES: Answers Academy Creation Study for Teens will begin a study series designed to answer questions about the authority and accuracy of the Bible from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Sept. 5. The 13-week study is for teens in grades 8 through 12. The cost is $10 per student for workbooks and snacks. Space is limited, so reserve your spot with Chris Rushton at 860-0050.

TRIP TO ALABAMA: Our Lady of Fatima prayer group is sponsoring its fifth pilgrimage to Alabama to the EWTN television program in Irondale and the Shrine of the Most Sacred Heart in Hanceville. The trip includes Mass, confession, spiritual talks, recitation of the rosary and a live show at EWTN that is televised and Mass, spiritual talks and Stations of the Cross at the shrine. There are three-night hotel accommodations, three breakfasts, four lunches and three dinners. The deadline for reservations is Sept. 1 for the Oct. 3-6 trip.
