Temple B'nai Israel, 1685 S Belcher Road, Clearwater: An open house and orientation for the Baseman Early Childhood Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

There will be tours of the school, as well as refreshments, games and crafts.

First Step, a weekly program for parents and children from infants to 2 years and Toddler Time for children ages 2 and 21/2 will begin Aug. 18 with an open house from 9 to 11 a.m. Led by Renee Baseman, participants take part in age-related play experiences, Jewish holiday celebrations, theme days and Shabbat with Rabbi Baseman.

St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1199 Highland Ave., Largo: The church needs exhibitors for its 11th annual crafts event, "Homespun by Hands and Hearts."

It is planned for Oct. 21 at the Christian Life Enrichment Center. Call 585-4758 for more information.

Chapel-By-The-Sea, 54 Bay Esplanade, Clearwater Beach: The church needs artists and exhibitors for its Arts and Crafts Festival on Oct. 28 in the Chapel hall and Sunday school courtyard. Tables/booths start at $35.
