ASSISTED-LIVING SERVICES SHELLY CRADDOCK has been named Administrator of the Year by the Florida Center for Assisted Living. Receiving this award also means Craddock will serve as statewide vice president of FCAL. Craddock is administrator for the Inn at Freedom Square, Seminole. FUNERAL SERVICES GEORGE B. MORGAN III has been installed as president-elect of the Independent Funeral Directors of Florida. Morgan is co-owner/operator of Morgan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Port Richey. HEALTH CARE DR. NEAL CHUANG has joined Surgical Associates of West Florida, a clinic specializing in minimally invasive thoracoscopic thoracic surgery based in Safety Harbor. Chuang recently completed his fellowship in minimally invasive thoracic surgery at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Chuang will have privileges at Morton Plant Hospital, Mease Countryside and Dunedin hospitals, and Largo Medical Center. Bennett is a shareholder and board member at the law firm of Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson PA, Tampa, and concentrates in the area of real estate law. DAVID S. HENDRIX has been selected to participate in the 25th anniversary Class of Leadership Florida. Hendrix is a shareholder and practices in the areas of commercial litigation, banking, construction, transportation, administrative and regulatory law at the law firm of GrayRobinson, Tampa. MARKETING PORTER CUSMANO has been promoted to account executive at Walker Brand Communications, Tampa. Cusmano was an account coordinator. NONPROFIT PAUL AVERY has been re- elected a national vice president and JAMES F. MAJOR has been re-elected to the board of directors of the Muscular Dystro-phy Association. Avery is chief operating officer of OSI Restaurant Partners, Tampa; and Major is the former vice president and general manager of WFTS-Ch. 28. REAL ESTATE MARShA NORTHROP has been promoted to managing broker at Prudential Tropical Realty's Lutz/Land O'Lakes office. In addition to her new responsibilities, Northrop will continue to serve as director of the building sales and marketing division. RECRUITMENT HOLLIS NELSON has been named managing consultant at Watson Wyatt Worldwide for its Tampa and Miami offices. Nelson was an account manager. TOURISM The city of Tampa announces these appoint-ments at the Tampa Convention Center: ANN SELLS, national sales manager for the Southeast and speciality markets; and KEITH BIANCHI, national sales manager for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets. Sells was a contract employee with the Tampa Convention Center as a sales coordinator; and Bianchi was national sales manager at Safety Harbor Resort and Spa.
