Tech sector isn't all for IT workers

To find a good place to work in tech in Florida, information technology workers can look outside the box.

The six Florida employers that made Computerworld magazine's top 100 workplaces for IT professionals are not in the tech sector. Raymond James Financial of St. Petersburg came in at No. 67, with the University of Miami (No. 2), Royal Caribbean Cruises (Miami, No. 7), Publix Supermarkets (Lakeland, No. 41), Nemours children's health system (Jacksonville, No. 44), and Miami-Dade County (No. 76) rounding out the state's group.
