By TIMES STAFF WRITER
Published August 22, 2006

The family of Dr. Arya Moti, 36, a physician who died Thursday, will host "A Celebration of His Life" at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Silverthorn Country Club, 4550 Golf Club Lane, Brooksville.

Moti was owner of the Moti Center for Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine P.A., team physician for the Tampa Bay Storm, a certified ringside physician for the Florida State Boxing Commission and a staff member of Brooksville Regional Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in his memory to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, P.O. Box 3161, Spring Hill, FL 34613.
