LARGO - A man whose arm and leg were severed during a motorcycle accident on S Largo-Clearwater Road was identified Tuesday as Erick S. Kelecseny.

Kelecseny, who is from Largo, was still in critical condition at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg on Tuesday evening, according to officials.

He was riding a 2001 Yamaha motorcycle early Monday morning when he lost control of it and his body hit a pedestrian signal light, said Largo police Officer Paula Crosby.

The officer said alcohol tests had not been finished, but speeding was a factor and officials were considering charges against him.
