NEW YORK - In the final summer week before the earliest fall shows arrive, Nielsen Media Research's Top 10 remained a drowsy festival of repeats and talent competitions. Two editions of NBC's America's Got Talent claimed the week's top slots, followed by a rerun of CBS's 60 Minutes. Otherwise, the Top 10 included a pair of CBS's CSI, two episodes of that network's Without a Trace, plus Fox's House, and finales of So You Think You Can Dance and Hell's Kitchen. CBS led the pack with an average of 7.5-million viewers in prime time. NBC had 6.5-million, Fox had 6.3-million and ABC had 5.8-million. UPN had 1.8-million and the WB had 1.7-million (both 1.2 rating, 2 share). Among the Spanish-language networks, Univision averaged 3.3-million viewers, Telemundo had 830,000 and TeleFutura had 470,000. NBC's Nightly News won the evening news ratings race, averaging 7.8-million viewers. ABC's World News was runnerup with 7.3-million viewers. The CBS Evening News remained in third place with 6.8-million viewers. Here are the Top 20 listings for the week of Aug. 14-20, include season-to-date rankings in parentheses (an "X" in parentheses denotes a one-time presentation). 1.
